Plan of Salvation

How Do I Accept Christ?

The ABCs of Salvation
Romans 10:9-10. "That if thous shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.  For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

Now that you are saved, it is important for you to grow and develop as a Christian.  Part of the growth and development is to be perfected.  In order to be perfected or matured, you must find yourself a Bible Believing, Bible Teaching church.  It is important for you to hear the Word each week and get involved in serving the Lord.  You must also begin to develop a personal relationship with the Lord.

How Do I Grow in My Walk with Christ?
Here are some helpful starters to assist you in growing in your walk with Christ...

Prayer is your communication method with the Lord.  In order to talk with the Lord, you must spend time in prayer.  Start each day by thanking and praising God for all that He has done.  God will speak to you in a manner you can understand, begin to talk and then force yourself to listen.

I must feed my Spirit Our Spirits must be fed the Word of God.  As we read and study God's Word, He will reveal His purposes and plans for our lives.  We do not limit our physical bodies to eating natural food only once a week, we eat everyday sometimes 2-3 times a day so that our natural bodies will receive strength and nourishment.  Our Spirit man must also be fed the Word of God so it can grow and develop.

When we become Born Again, our Spirits are renewed, changed.  Our flesh is not.  In order for us to walk successfully as Christians, we must learn  to control our natural bodies and force our bodies to obey what the Word of God says.  This does not come naturally.  Yet it can be done through discipline.
